Can't see the video, but I posted a video of Paul preaching at some conference where he told them plainly that there is more to living for God that just a prayer. It was powerful. Again I can't see the video here at work so it might be the same video

I have watched his videos. he is so powerful. His passion for the gospel was a match the Spirit lit within me to change my focus to Gospel preaching instead of contemporary preaching.

he is a man after the heart of God, and I applaud his honesty and truth.

Please explain "Gospel preaching" vs. "Contemporary preaching". What are each?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

"No one wants to study doctrine anymore. They just want to listen to songs and read the back of christian t-shirts."

Re: Paul Washer rebukes American Christianity

Sure CC1.

Contemporary preaching is the feel good new age best life now nonsense which has turned churches from houses of God into glorified country clubs. Sin is not mentioned for fear such would make people feel uncomfortable, and people are more concerned about social standing after a message than being in right standing with God.

Gospel preaching is the presentation of the Gospel in the biblical manner that after hearing such, a souls sees the depravity of their own sin, and is willing to hate their sin, turn from it, and turn to God, confessing their sins, and believing solely upon Christ alone for salvation and forgiveness of sins. It is preaching that focuses solely upon Christ and the truths found in His Word, and calls a sinner to salvation, and a saint to continued endurance in that which Christ has called us to be in Him.

Gospel preaching today is a scandal. The flesh hates it. This is why so many have fallen for Purpose Driven and Best Life to bring church attendance, and went contemporary.
