We Have a New L & T Church

We have a new Love and Truth Church in Crainville, IL, pastored by Bob & Terri Wynn. They are great people who really love God and are doing a good work up there. They are only 3-4 hours away from here, so he is able to come down for all of our pastor's meetings and special services. We do joint services periodically with all the L & T groups coming together. Anyway, it was exciting to reach into another state, besides TN & MS.

I have given this a lot of thought and I have a suggested name change for your ministry.

Instead of "Love and Truth" why not just go with "Loving Spoonful"?

See site below for inspiration;

(I realize that many AFFer's are too young to have a clue who the Loving Spoonful are - LOL)

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Are you selling franchise rights on L&T? Will they soon be popping up in strip malls and shopping centers nationwide?

Close to Carterville, Carbondale, Herrin, etc. A little over an hour from where I grew up. those places were mostly in my "section".

Yes, just invest a million dollars into our ministry and we'll open one near you. (Or half a million for "Love and Truth Light").

I will mention the name change to Eddie; I'm sure he will put it to a vote.
