I am looking for some themes to chose from for a young people's congress.
Any ideas?

they usually decorate to match the theme. one year it was rain, another year it was fire...so they work around whatever theme that is chosen...
Of course it is all about Jesus...

Re: themes for young people's conventions

The theme for our Youth Camp and Conference this year was "Get a Grip". They were able to go many directions with that. (Holding onto God, Holding onto Faith, Holding onto what is important and what really matters inspite of the superfluous, shallow, and temporary things they are constantly bombarded with. I preached about being in God's hand and how no man can take you out...so the only way you can fall or fail would be if you allowed the devil to be successful in his attempts to get you to take your hands out of God's hands and grab onto all of the things he tempts you with.

Just some ideas...they had a lot going on (skits, mini-sermons, illustrated sermons, classes, etc)

I'm not sure, but anything that includes Dora the Explorer is a sure winner. She speaks Spanish too which is a plus. I hear that Diego plays and they can play and sing well together. A real evangelistic duo! TIC!
