In the interest of the title and deflecting from the fight.... I think I will stick to the path that ive been on since my birth. I guess in some ways it is the old path, but some who like to talk about the old path might not agree.... i grew up in a moderate church that was always a moderate church going back to before the merger.
It is a good path. the way is well worn if narrow. but the Way has always been such. God is good. I am blessed.

YOU quoted me, directed your post to me and then go on a tirade about judging.
That's rich.
I would suggest prayer.
Don't depend on your conservative buddies, but check your own spirit.
Slightly altered - for OP.

Ferd, I can respect where you are and your heritage.
You guys will go to any length to falsely accuse and JUDGE a conservative.
Never claimed to be "a spokesperson" for the cons no more than you claim to be a spokesperson gor the liberals that have left truth.
Fair enough.
However, if your attitude is indicative of the ultra con persuasion, count me out.
And, before you say it, I'm quite sure you feel the same way about me.
So, we'll agree to disagree!

Ferd, you have a good spirit about you, so I don't care if you think things are wrong that I think are ok. It's just that nasty judgmental spirit that gets on people's nerves. And yes, I know it's on both sides of the fence, not just the conservatives. I wish we could all just agree to disagree.

I think you need to pray to, if you really felt we all were lost you would post with humility draped in compassion.
I dont see Christ in your posts, it's really sad.
Let me give you some wisdom, you being an older man in the ministry should want to be a "father" to those that are younger than you, that they would want what you have and want to hear what you have to say, instead you push us all away with your jabbing comments.
Here this scripture might help you to understand what is taking place here:
Col 3: 21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
I know we are not your children, but provoking people to anger is still not of God.
My "attitude" just like yours is indicative of ME and my life experiences and not necessarily everyone else's.
True enough, sometimes I need to remember that.
