Re: Who's going to win it all

The easier part of the Cubs schedule is over! It gets very tough from here until the end of the season! I was hoping for a 7 game lead, but those pesky Brewers kept winning games!

As it stands, the Cubs are 6 games up on the Brewers and 9 1/2 games up on the Cardinals.

I honestly don't know if the Cubs can hold on to the lead in September with their tough schedule. I do think they will at least make the playoffs as a wildcard! I guess we'll watch and see what happens. This should be fun!

I just read where in the last 29 games for the Cubs, 26 are to teams that are currently over .500!!

Meanwhile, the brewers play 16 games with teams under .500!

The Brewers have 13 more games left with sub .500 teams, than the Cubs have.

I don't know if the Cubs can hold a 6 game lead, but if they can, it will definitely prepare them for the playoffs!
