Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech

Before all the rave reviews start flying in, without even seeing the speech, let me predict that it will be a unanimous "homerun out of the park" grade given here

No, is it on now? I just got done with service a while ago and am in my office. I just came here to see the reaction. Is it on now? I thought it would be over.

No, it just started at 9:30 CST

Guiliani (sp?) was right before Palin...he was very entertaining.

I'll have to catch a rebroadcast. I'm about to head home now. How's it going? (the speech)

She's doing a good job. The crowd obviously loves her, but that's to be expected. She's definitely not being timid about addressing her opponents, and she's doing it with a pleasant look on her face.

Guiliani addressed the concept that someone questioned her ability to lead based on having 5 children, and said, "How dare they? They would never ask a MAN that question?"

Which is a good point...who asked Obama the question, "How can you be President, when you have children to take care of?" Very sexist, and ironically hypocritical coming from any liberal.

Yeah, I think that sometimes people are pretty stupid about what things they try to use as attack points. Oh well, maybe I'll sit down and watch her speech for myself and see how she comes across to me.
