I didn't realize it was newfangled.
However if they preach "You need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. It's important to live a godly life" etc etc...maybe they will get responces...I mean they do have SOME receiving the gift....why?

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Silly me. All this time I thought sin was what was keeping us from God and if he had forgiven my sins then there was nothing between us and he would never send a sinless person to hell soooooo there is only one other place to go.

The Salvation Wash process is not complete without a properly administered spin cycle to effectuate washing of the body of sin ...
The good news is that you can receive God's Spirit indwelling on credit prior to being properly dunked ... of course only if you have the right verbal passwords.
