Re: CC1's Wife Overdosed By Pharmacy Mistake
CC1 - I would absolutely do that!
You aren't looking to get rich off this, but just compensated for the expense, damage and suffering she is having to endur because of their neglect.
Nothing wrong in doing that.

They probably have the strongest legal department of any retailer and the deepest pockets. I imagine they are used to playing hardball because every scam / con artist in the world probably tries to get their money.
However we do not have a history of being litigious. In fact we have NEVER sued anybody for anything. My big concern is that if there are any long term health issues because of this that the expense of that be taken care of and also they take into account the tremendous pain and suffering my wife is going through.
Once we get the analysis of her irregular hearbeat, the results of the effects on her esophagus, stomach, etc (re ulcers, etc) I will probably get legal representation on how to proceed.

I hope it's not Walmart!
I had a client that was shopping at a Walmart store, when he walked BEHIND a truck that had been unloading. The truck suddenly backed up and ran over him almost killing him. His leg was so mangled that he would never walk again.
He filed a lawsuit against Walmart, but they successfully delayed any judgment for several years. Out of frustration to pay medical bills that had piled up, they finally settled for a whole lot less.
He died about six months ago from his complications. He was 45 years old!
Walmart has the money to wait you out until you'll probably never see any money! It's really sad!

Re: CC1's Wife Overdosed By Pharmacy Mistake
Please tell the Mrs. CC1 that we will be praying for her. She has had way too many medical problems for someone her age. (By the way--she looks 20 years younger than she is!!!) Let her know we love her!
