2. I agree; I wouldn't necessarily hand off anything negative about a friend of mine for them to read, unless it was damaging to their reputation and needed to be taken care of. So I agree--the motives of whomever passed it along are somewhat in question.

3. However, once he has read it, he's read it, and that doesn't speak ill of Mark--to have read a post about himself. IMO, anyway.

I've sat around tables with ministers and their wives on many occasions, though, and I know how the gnashing of the teeth can go, so I hope JP isn't one of those types of "round tables."

I think one must be careful what they copy and send to a friend but the friend that told Mark about this conversation must have known Mark has big shoulders and can take it. Furthermore, when one is involved in ministry, I think it is fair to warn them. I don't think Mark would want to invited RKS to his church knowing RKS has basically accused him of being "dummer" then the preachers on JP. If someone talks behind your back, you certainly don't want them to minister in your church. For instance, my pastor had someone preach at our church that had (unknowing to my pastor) been talking behind my pastor's back. The end result was the minister also talked behind his back to some saints and some people left the church believing the junk.

With such a hateful reponse, you must only know Mark from the forum. People who really know Mark thoroughly understand he has no malice towards anyone.

I find it amusing how people become haters so easily. Posting threads that ask questions or give links to controversial news articles does not make one a "trouble maker."

BTW, should I add there is "ministry" that has called Pastor Emory to defend Mark?
