Urgent CAs! 1st grade field trip to Gay Wedding!

~~ TO ALL MY FELLOW CALIFORNIANS!! ~ ~

I got this email from fellow church members! If we know what's good for us, we better get out and vote next month!

Dear Friend,

You're not going to believe this.

In the same week that the No on 8 campaign launched an ad that labeled as "lies" claims that same-sex marriage would be taught in schools to young children, a first grade class took a school-sponsored trip to a gay wedding. Eighteen first graders traveled to San Francisco City Hall Friday for the wedding of their teacher and her lesbian partner, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The school sponsored the trip for the students, ages 5 and 6, taking them away from their studies for the same-sex wedding.

The wedding was officiated by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who arrogantly welcomed the arrival of same-sex marriage by saying "The door's wide open now. It's gonna happen, whether you like it or not."

It's no wonder that the No on 8 campaign is fighting tooth and nail to get our ads pulled off the air. It's because they're true. Not only will schoolchildren be taught about same-sex marriage if Prop 8 fails, it's already happening.

To make sure Californians know the truth, we need you to do three things right now:

Forward this email to your friends and family right now, and ask them to forward it to their friends. Every California voter needs to know about this.
Watch the ad the No on 8 campaign doesn't want you to see, and donate to keep it on the air.
Please volunteer today, and we'll put you out in the field talking to voters directly -- as thousands are already doing this weekend.

Mark,
I was reading the news article to my husband yesterday. As you know we have a son, DIL with three children in CA.

The information is definitely NOT a bogus e-mail circulation - it's in the news less someone doesn't believe it.

Lord, I would be furious if my child was in that school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those that don't know it, San Francisco has had a Gay Holiday
for sometime in the schools. They have gay stars and leaders come
and speak to the kids and have a big fun day etc.

SF tried to force this day on the rest of CA. but the people
stood up and made their voices heard. That's why I know we
can make a difference.

If the marriage is forced on us through these Judges, this will
eventually effect EVERYONE - that's what people who are not
in CA are NOT GETTING

Sure it will affect everyone!!!! Why do you live there? LOL! Why do they live there? My DIL asked if I thought we would ever like to live in CA. I said, "Are you kidding me? I live in the Bible Belt. I'm not living with a bunch of Democrats!"

Don't parents have to sign permission slips for field trips? So the parents that object just don't let their children go.

The fact that it was their teacher who was getting married is a large part of the reason. It's not like they went to witness a random gay wedding....

I think you would be surprised at how many people there
are here with traditional values PO. The hispanic community alone
is very traditional.

The problem we have is San Francisco and Los Angeles. they have an
unlimited money and power base with hollywood. BUT! it's not neccessarily the will of the people.

Orange county, Riverside area, the central Valley and San Diego
are actually more conservative then you might know
