As I understand it.... it is not illegal to import hemp products. You can even import hemp seed (a food product) but it has to be, in some way, made to where it is no longer a viable seed for growth.]

Hempusa.org sells hemp seed, hemp oil, hemp soft centers etc....

The hemp is grown in Canada and then legally imported to the United States

Actually it was one of the major cash crops for the early Americans. All the founding fathers grew Hemp.

Indeed. Hemp has been a major crop of every society for thousands of years and was grown in the United States until it was banned in 1937.

The United states found itself short on good rope etc during the war and put out a video called Hemp For Victory where they encouraged farmers to, once again, farm the hemp plant.

They needed to get their special license from the government of course but they farmed it nonetheless.

Speaking of hemp I seem to remember a video called reefer madness,but it wasn't about rope.

Seems like in a mall one time I saw a clothing store with hemp in the name perhaps the clothes in that place were made from hemp.
