And just for good measure, here she is at about 9 months. She's pretty big for a female.
Shepherds are smart dogs and yours is beautiful! Since I was young, my family always had a German Shepherd. Looks like yours is spoiled, too.

Oh, you don't know the half. I'm sure she looks so intent in those pictures because she was begging for something from whoever was on the couch. I've had Shepherds my whole life so I am pretty biased.

Sorry to hear about this. Your last two sentences ring true. We will all need to pray more for God's protection. Thankfully, the Lord did protect what was most valuable, your loved ones lives.

Re: Leave Us Alone - We Work Hard for our Stuff!!

I'm going to their apt. now to help them pack. They have an opportunity to "house sit" an empty house that is on the market for free until they purchase a house. They have a contract on a house now, so I'm praying that works out.

They are neogiating a deal to get out of their apt. lease. When they went to apt. office to let them know they had been robbed - the blonde airhead said, "well that suc*s" - - no empathy or concern at all.

My son told her he had a lot of friends looking for apts and he'll make sure that he tells them not to bother looking at The Preserve. He asked if they were going to send out a letter to let the others know that there had been four break-ins and she said no. He said, well we told everyone in our building and four of them are planning on relocating too.

Sis, does your son know of any other robberies that were done at "The Preserve?" The attitude of the B.A.H. strikes me as odd. Her response sounds pretty lame. I mean, it's not like they had a pipe break under the sink and the apartment flooded. This was a burglary, and therefore you would think the office manager would have a little more concern about the incident.
Because of the office manager's pathetic response my suspicions would be focused on her. I would be curious to know how many burglaries does she know about? Also how long have they been happening while she has been holding her manger position? Stranger things have been known to happen.
She might be totally innocent and just shows no apathy for anyone.
Still, she may know when people are home, and their apartments are easy marks for burglaries.

Hope all goes well with your son and will be praying for his situation.

In Jesus name

Brother Benincasa

Re: Leave Us Alone - We Work Hard for our Stuff!!

Several years ago our cabin cruiser was broken into in the marina.

The next night I stayed aboard the boat, sleeping with one eye open and a large knife at my side.

When I did hear something outside I began to really rethink my decision to confront a burglar.

Fortunaltly for the burglars and myself no one showed up to pilfer my boat that night.

The thing I remember about being broken into and robbed waqs the feeling of being violated.

I hope everything works out well for your kids Renda

I'm so sorry, unfortunately we've been there as well, you feel violated to say the lest! Everything feel dirty and unclean, worst part you are scared! Your space been invaded. I bet it was someone living in the unit, two homes were broken into, sounds like they knew their victims daily doings and coming and goings, when they be gone.

We lost over 55,000.00 in a break in over six years ago, sadly it was someone who knew us, and a godly person we called a friend. When we confronted them and told them we were going to the police they threaten to kill us. To make a long story short, they returned to our home three weeks later with two other men, with guns in hand to kill us. Our next store neighbor at the time who was a chain smoker scared them off as he went out for his nightly smokes. Thank God we were not harmed! They police arrested them! But we never recover the stolen items.

The worst part ,we no longer feel safe, nor trust people like we did!
