Racist or not...probably not a good idea to make your children into political symbols right before an historic election.
But it is stupid that it's only racist if white kids do it. Obviously there are a lot of white people who are voting for Obama. Kinda' seems stupid to tell them they can't dress up like their idol.

I come from a blue collar union family. It's amazing how companies can pay employees so little that they have to work weekends instead of go to church or take on a second job....meanwhile the CEOs make out like bandits. To make matters worse....all to often it's the little guy on the assembly line working far harder and breaking his back just to put food on his family's table.
I'm not big on welfare....but I am for a fair and living wage (something Republicans disdain). And I have little pitty on fat cats who are filthy rich and making money hand over fist on the backs of hard working Americans who work for a substandard wage.
Which brings up that ever pesky question... What IS a fair and living wage? Is it the person making a thousand dollars more a year than you? This seems to be the thinking of most die hard union members. And if someone is already making a 'fair' wage, what incentive is there to make anymore if all that happens is someone else decides you have too much and thus need to spread the wealth.
And yes, there are fat cats. There always WILL be fat cats. But there is no BETTER economic system then the free market one for keeping their numbers in check -and in fact lifting the general economic condition of ALL people in the process.
