So true!

Honestly, I'm surprised at how some are carrying on about Sarah Palin and her lack of modesty...does she claim to be UPC? Like Renda commented earlier, some people are never happy.

Blue Denim Whale is funny and offensive at the same time.

Judging by the outward is something that is accused of the "standard keepers" and yet the term "Blue Denim Whales" is doing exactly that... judging someone by thier outward.

The Blue Denim Whale for the conservative is the same kind of sterotype as the Jan Crouch and Tammy Fay Bakker for the liberal is.
A sterotype and a rude one at that.

I like my jean skirts but I don't wear them daily and I'm not a whale.

And I like Sarah P and her style, for the record.

Blue Denim Whale is a rude phrase. I don't suppose the one who coined the phrase would enjoy being on the recieving end of it.

Yes, it is a rude phrase, but it's been a phrase that's been on these forums for ages now...

And that matters zilch to me... I've been on AFF for over a year and I still find it an offensive overgeneralization. I'm a size 5 and I take offense because a)everyday people in the world LOVE thier jeans and no one calls them down for it b) even people in the world know it's rude to refer to someone as a whale.

This is an Apostolic (aka, Holy Ghost filled people???) Friends (would I call my friend a whale????) Forum. When are we going to be Christians?

I said the same things (more or less) ages ago, and was ignored.

It will never be Christ like to refer to someone in such a manner, whether you believe in standards or not.
