But at this point, it's just starting to feel like information like this is too little, too late. The actual interview in question took place in January 2008.
McCain's people should have been all over this months ago. It's ridiculous that the story had to be broken by some little-known website, and then carried on Drudge before America started to take notice of this. McCain has been trying too hard to be Mr Nice Guy, and not hit Obama in the mouth when he should have.... even though Obama's been hitting him in the mouth from the very beginning. Well, being Mr Nice guy usually causes you to lose, as it seems McCain is about to do.
He's run a very weak campaign. I'm really starting to wonder if Mitt Romney would have been a better candidate.
