It's what the Democrats are allowing to destroy the traditional family
that the UPC is more against then anything

Get real. Politicians don't destroy families. People destroy families. Affairs destroy families. Spousal abuse destroys families. Child abuse and molestation destroys families. More marriages are folding right now due to financial problems and being washed out of everything they ever worked for than affairs. They can't stay above water and they begin accusing each other.
If you want to protect the family...stop trusting that the Government is the savior of the family. Pray real prayers for families. Open a shelter for homeless and displaced families. Start a family counseling and crisis center in your church. If you know a family on your block who is sinking in debt and their at each other's throats, help them with groceries and let them know if they need ANYTHING to ask and you'll TRY to help. If you know a family suffering from an affair speak frankly and sensibly and try to bring reconciliation. If you want to save the family...PREACH AND LIVE THE GOSPEL. McCain can't save the family! And marriage is an institution ordained and created by God himself...the Democrats CAN'T destroy it. It's all right wing scare tactics and propaganda! So what, I have gay neighbors who claim to be "married"....does that make me love my wife and children less???? Does that make me suddenly want to go out and get gay married? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Dude....frankly....what that gay couple does in the privacy of their own home is their business. And I'm no pervert who obsesses over it and tries to control them. I want to show them the love of Christ and pray that they be saved. I'm a friend. If they have a house warming party, I go with a dynamite gift. My wife chit chats with them when out in the yard. They open up on occasion and say, "I know you're Pentecostal, but you're different. I used to go to church. I wish more Christians were like you." And yes, if one gets sick, I'd be the first to be willing to go to the hospital with my gay neighbor to pray for his partner. Would I tell my church???? NOPE. Because they would transfer their hatred to me and I refuse to put up with it.
The point is...the only hope for the family, even gay families, is the Gospel.

I don't believe in putting one's head in the sand. I believe that if truly faced between two every real evils it's best not to vote at all and offer prayer to God for the nation. But these guys (McCain and Obama) are just politicians. One's on the right and the other's on the left. They're both corrupt, all politicians are, but neither one is pure evil. Good men are voting for each one based on the issues that directly effect them and their immediate family. I just happen to favor Obama over McCain. But when it comes to the American Church....bro....the church is nothing but a lap dog for the RNC. And as long as we are all wrapped up in this world's politics and hating one another...we'll not see revival.

I happen to not like either one. My only reason for voting McCain is because there is not a third offering that can do any damage to both parties.
I personally do not believe the president runs the country. I just do not want democrats running the white house, senate, and house of reps. If that happens you want to talk about dark times. Look at how badly the Dems run Chicago and Illinois. Don't want them running our nation also. Dem's pretty much run the state of AZ also, not completely, but a dem gov and dem mayor in phoenix and we are in serious trouble now also.

Bro...the Republicans have been in near absolute control. We had a Republican White House, a Republican Congress (until recently), and 7 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices were appointed by Republicans. And look at our economy. Right now the fallout from our economic crisis is sending markets into a tailspin around the world. The Supreme Court essentially stated that Home Depot has more rights than you do as a private citizen. The Republicans have done a terrible job. And if you vote for moral reasons get this....they've done NOTHING on those issues either. I'd take my investment portfolio under Clinton over what I've experienced under Bush any day.

Spare me. I dont believe for a minute that you don't bash the right wing simply because they are in power. You continually bash them, and promote leftism on this board in your posts, because you're a left winger and disagree with the underlying priniciples of conservative politics.
And it's fair for me to bash the left wing even though they're not in power (at leat not in the White House). Their wrongheaded principles and policies are enacted from Congress and the Senate, and I see the harmful effects many left-wing policies have had and are having on our country. So it's absurd to say someone shouldnt criticize leftists politicians in this county just because the leftists are not in control of the Executive branch of govt.
At least I can admit that I'm a conservative who has disdain for the political left. You are a leftist who seems unwilling to admit it, but rather try to position yourself as being some kind of centrist. I've seen enough of your posts to see the clear pattern. You are anything but a centrist.

I'm voing my conscience after reviewing policies and crunching numbers....and I'm holding my nose and voting Obama. Where'd you get THAT twisted bit of info? CNN?

There you go. Thank you.
I just said the same thing to him. Out of the mouth of 2 or more witnesses....
I cant believe this man actually wants to portray himself as being "in the middle".
In the middle of the far left, maybe.

If you can't see how the conservatives have practically broke this nation you're blind as a bat.

Bro....I am in the middle. The problem is that you're so far to the right wing extreme you see me way out on your left. But I assure you, if there were more liberal Brothers and Sisters here I do have lines I don't cross. And if they wanted to promote an extremist left wing agenda I'd radically denounce them also.

Re: Prophetic Word about the Election
Here's the deal...it's popular to hate liberals. So the best thing they've manufactured is a tactic designed to paint anyone they don't like and want to hate as a left wing liberal extremist. It's like a political racism.
