No, I wasn't trying to mess with anyone. I'm serious, I have not even seen him as much as usual even without an election. Has any incumbent ever just disappeared like this before? I know that many will say that he hurts McCain, but I think that star power still carries a lot of weight. I think that he could have done some good in some of the traditionally GOP states that they are now struggling in.

Re: AFF Election Night Thread...

Okay, anyone gonna venture a time when this election will be one, & by whom, & by how many Electoral College Votes?

Obama
8:00 PM

308 Electoral Votes.

Just my guess

Anyone?

We can see who was closest.

The Prez only campaigns if he's asked to. He wasn't asked.

It would almost take that. Am I just missing something or is it way too early to call a state with less than 10% of the precincts reporting? Do they look at certain strategic parts of the state first?

Did it just say that O was ahead in Ohio 62% by 32%? Wow!

In Canada, they do the same thing, it is about percentages & polling.

I would think that any damage that could have been done by linking McCain to Bush would have been done by now. I say that just due to sheer star power, he could have generated some excitement in some of the traditional GOP states...the states that voted for him overwhelmingly. I don't know I may be wrong but it just seems that way.
