Years ago there was a preacher named Bro. Gosey. At one time he lived in the Cincinnati area but had moved out east. I believe he lived in Norfolk, VA. I don't know which (if any) organization he was in. The UPC Publishing House used to offer his charts which were very much like the Larkin charts. He preached at the ALJC church a couple times where I used to go. I think he also preached at a local PAW church when he was in town. I heard Bro. Gosey say the same thing Pastor Hardwick is quoted as having said.
I don't think most trinitarians really believe in three gods. They've heard the term "three persons" so long they just accept it. And the term "trinity" is often used to denote the deity of Jesus versus the idea that He was just a mere man so they go along with that.
