Ok, girlfriends, what's going on?? QueenEsther leaves to have her baby (soon), Carey is away moving across the country - but where is everyone else???? I'm missing you all!!!!

It's such a beautiful day here. Mid 70's!!! But they're telling us to watch for tornados this evening and then a high of 35 tomorrow I love spring - but then again, maybe I hate spring. Who knows? Depends on what day it is. And sometimes it depends on what time of day it is!

We had a high of 86 degrees here yesterday. It was almost miserable! We don't have AC at the moment--and who in their right mind would have thought we would need it this soon!

Now I hear it is suppose to be cold tomorrow. *sigh* I wish it would make up its mind!

I think I have finally kicked my soda habit *whooooo hooooo*

Now I just gotta find a way to lose some of this weight. blah!

STS, thank you for the update on Carey and Malachi. I'm praying for a safe journey.

I know how you feel about the heat. I hate to turn it back on once you've turned it off for the season. I'm afraid that's what we'll be doing here in our area tomorrow.

Myhalo, congrats on kicking the soda habit. I'm always impressed when someone can do that. I have a terrible addiction to pop Sometimes I look at a glass after I've been drinking out of it and see the residue that sticks. And then I think how that same kind of stuff is probably inside of me. Ewwwww. But it still doesn't seem to be enough to make me stop.

Boy, oh boy, we just a downpour here. I had to go shut windows to keep the rain out. And now, 2 minutes later, the sun is shining bright and beautiful! go figure!!

I'm so glad to see all of you lovely ladies chiming in today. I was worried Gabby's was going to go down the tubes if we didn't all start posting soon, but I think we've resurrected it. Hallelujah!

I just want to strangle my friend who talked me into having a yard sale with her. It WAS planned for the 13th-- so I was thinking I could take my time about cleaning out everything-- and just have ONE big yard sale and donate the left over stuff to the thrift store.

Then my friend calls this morning and she thinks we would do better with the sale if we move it up to THIS Friday..... and can I get my stuff ready by then.. grrrrrr.... I can do it, but it will half kill me.

I have a mountain of stuff on my desk, a mountain of stuff around my desk that needs to be priced.... (I hate going to yard sales where stuff has no price tags... so I price everything) I have a living room half full of bags of stuff.

Hubby is supposed to bring me home some boxes from work so that I have something besides trash bags to put stuff in.

This is a bigger job than I bargained for I'm afraid.

I'm just praying that the Lord will please bless this yard sale and let me sell it all.... I've told the girls they can have all the money from the sale to pay their way to church camp in June.

I have had a horrible time with the soda habit. This time I prayed about it. I seriously need to get healthy. So I prayed about it and the next Diet DP I opened didn't taste right. Of course I just took a couple of drinks and then dumped it. I did that a few times. LOL I just wasnt willing to give it up and kept trying again...lol

Finally I got what was like dry mouth and nothing but ice water would help. That's when I realized God may have been trying to help me and I just didn't notice..lol

I went to Wal Mart and bought a sports bottle--its 32 ounces. I try to drink at LEAST 3 of them a day. I have never liked water. I don't even crave soda anymore!
