Hugs for you both!

Thank you. I see from your post that you have another "big 50" coming up. I think that both cases are a testament to your character and integrity.

God Bless.

Sis. Talklady,

Thank you for your sweet words. I told someone else today, just
maybe one a these days we can have a AFF Reunion in a centrally
located place and all be there. Wouldn't that be great. Just like blood
brothers and sisters. HIS Blood! By the love of God shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost that is given unto us.

Hugs,

Re: TEXAS AFF'ers...Invitation

I just sat here thinking about how I would love to pick up a phone and call your church just to hear your voice on the other end. I bet you have the sweetest voice and that your spirit just bleeds right through those phone lines. I know that you have been such an asset to your church! I love faithful people and as a pastor's wife, I thank you and congratulate you for being such a support to your church family and to its pastors.

Thank you, Sis. Sherri,

My late father used to say the Word of God didn't say you must have
a large crowd and a huge facility. But is is required that a man be found
faithful. I never forgot that. I worked very close with my dad in the work
of God as long as he lived. (1989) But I knew the years, the toil, the tears
that went into what was planted here in 1958, and knew I would willing to
do my part, whatever it was. If we are faithful until death, we will receive
a crown of life that fadeth not away. God said He would be our guide even
unto death. How much better can it get!!

Hugs,

Thank you, Bro.IAin'tMovin,

Friday evening, Nov.14th, is a reception for the two trustees and wives,
and church secretary for service since the beginning of the church.
Sunday morning at 10 o'clock is a special planned service observing the
last 50 yrs. since the church began Nov.12, 1958.

Much of what has been planned has been kept as a surprise for those
being honored. I have had a very nervous stomach as I am and have been
church secretary since the beginning. I was 19 yrs. old. I had just turned
19 in Sept '58. Had graduated in '57. Dad started the church with himself,
his wife and eleven children.
Being the oldest daughter and no one else available at the time, I was
chosen. I have thought many times of the scripture in Matt.15:13, Jesus
speaking, "Every plant, which my Father hath not planted, shall be rooted
up". I believe that God took a man and his family and planted them in a
small Texas town 50 yrs ago. When I read Psalms 1, I think of my late
father.

Psalms 1:1-3, Amplified Bible

1. BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who
walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice,
their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path
where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful
[and the mockers] gather.

2. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the
precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates
(ponders and studies) by day and by night.

3. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of
water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade
or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

To our Mighty God in Christ Jesus, be ALL the Honor, Praise and Glory.

With HIM, ALL things are possible.

Blessings,

Falla39
