Re: Piano Players Only Thread!!

Knowing how good St. Mark is, I don't know if I can even qualify. Mark has more licks than a Golden Retriever.

I started lessons as a kid. Learned how to sight read very well. Played classical. Started playing in church. Do some ear but prefer having music, chord charts.

I know; that's why it's good that I had to play from 1984 to 1995. The newer stuff is way beyond me, unless I have a chord chart. Then I can play most anything.

I used to play decent 'musician' piano but I don't have the desire or the need anymore. The band that plays at my church, the keyboard player is very good. He gigs around town.

I don't play as much as I used to but I do have a grand in my home and that can be relaxing.

I don't think I have ever heard Gerald Wolfe; does anybody know where I can hear him?
Does anybody know Denny Hahn? I think he's somewhere in Texas. He had an unusual arrangement of The Lord's Prayer.

I met Denny Hahn at JCM.As a bass player I did not enjoy playing with him,he was very difficult to play with, didn't listen to any other instrument besides himself.Played way too many notes( too busy).I have't seen him much since he moved to Texas.
