I think if the practice of joint prayer by married couples was actually followed, there would be no need for the "other" thread ROFL

Very true.
I think once prayer has its rightful place in a marriage, the other things will tend to fall in place a lot easier.

My husband will not pray together and I never see him pray. He really holds to that scripture to pray in your closet.

Renda, I believe God honors ALL prayer no matter where you pray or how you pray just as long as it is sincere and not for show. JMO

Oh, believe me, I've read it. I just posed the question because it seems as though it was specifically saying "wicked ways" of the "saved" people. My first thought was the spirit of the Pharisees.

I always thought it has to do with the Israelites always following after strange gods. And forgetting what God had done for them.
