Why would I be against a nation of Israel?
I am against how they are going about it.
Orthodox Jews are against Zionism, that should tell you something right off the bat!
I am against how they are going about setting up the nation.
God did say there was going to be a nation of Israel, but he also said he would set it up.
I always think we redeemed Apostolics will rule the world.
It just will not be in are own strength or in our own way.
Does that clear things up?

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Zionism, as the True torah Jews explain, is having a nation in Israel that does not abide by God's law. Remember, these Jews tell us that Zionism is an atheistic governing system for Israel and has traded obedience to God's law for nationalism.
Whoever believes Israel as a nation today is God's plan is simply incorrect, as I once was. I studied the issue and came to Deut 30 where we read that until Israel obeys God's laws, God will not regather them to the land. These Jews against Zionism claim that this is the reason there are always wars over there and no peace, because God will ensure their attempts fail if these people try to make the nation, themselves.
They claim God is making the entire world suffer because of it!
I believe Christians need to stop supporting Zionism in any form. Again, what kind of witness are we when we support something that the true Law-keeping Jews are totally against?
Sincere believers and preachers support Israel as a nation today, but they are gravely mistaken.
Like the Jews against Zionism, I am against Israel as a nation outside of adherence and obedience to God's Word.

These men are good brethren and love God, but I think they need to realize they are severely mistaken about all of this.
I think the news about the Jews against Zionism is shaking up any Christian Zionist who may have heard about it.

Here's an interesting spin on the topic...
If Jews can depart from the truth regarding Israel and digress into nationalism...can American Christians do the same with Christian Fundamentalism and the reconstruction of America according to what some call, "Biblical principles"?
Just a thought.

I think that this has already happened here in the US.
It actually seems comical to me that so many Christians put so much hope and faith in the political system of the US.

Try to have this conversation with some of the people I know!  They get downright militant about it. US is a "CHRISTIAN NATION" - no two ways about it. Even though you certainly could not prove that by her current laws, lawmakers, citizens, etc., so many still hold to the notion that the US is a christian nation and should be run like a theocracy. Sheesh!
