moderate use

Just wondering, how many here think moderate use of alcohol, caffeine, marijuana,or tobacco are OK?
Also, how would you define "moderate" use?

That limits me to about one Mexican Apple Pie from El Chico restaurant.

One time I ordered the Mexican Apple Pie from El Chico and they, apparently, use Mexican brandy in the sauce they pour over the pie,

Man that sauce was good. LOL

I was spooning more over the apple pie before each bite. Mmmm Mmmm Good.

After a little while my wife looked at me and asked if I was okay. i told her... I don't know... I can't seem to get my thoughts together.

She laughed so hard... she said... Don't tell me you are tipsy over a piece of Mexican Apple Pie....

It wouldn't take much for me it appears... even though I am a pretty big guy.

Marijuana is sin. Some of the others could be used with cation and moderation.

Well, the tobaccy and weed aren't smart; one is illegal and they both will degrade your body. The others aren't so bad if you use them in moderation. Moderation ranges from person to person.

Re: moderate use

I believe this thread falls under the topic that Paul talks about being a stumbling block for some and not for others. Thus, I will keep my private life to myself.

No real problem exists over the use of "The Name" in everthing else done in the Church. Why then should there exist great controversy over the use of the "The Name of the Godhead" in water baptism?

Alcohol and caffeine, yes. Marijuana, definately not. Tobacco, no, not really.

One glass say, of red wine with dinner is moderate. A couple of cups of coffee or a couple glasses of pop.
