Wow- it really brings it home to read some of your stories. We have not been affected too much. We do not eat out very much and I have started watching our spending more. We are debt free except for our mortgage. A year ago, my husband and I felt led to pull our money that was invested out of AIG and put it into CD's and IRA's. You can imagine our amazement when AIG went busted. We have cash placed where we can access it easily if needed. I really do think the economy will continue to be in a downturn for a while, before it gets better. I think when the pundits say "extended recession", that is code for the "D" word.

Hasn't affected us at all...found out that God's Word is true so I decided to live by the Word instead of by the economy. When Jesus said that if I seek first His Kingdom then He would take care of the other things I thought that was a pretty cool deal.
We've given more money and have done more for the Kingdom this year than any prior year...oh yeah, just got back from Israel...great trip! God's faithful and will not allow His Word to return to Him void.

Economy - How has it effected you? I'm poor, I was poor before our countries economic problem, and I will be poor after the countries economic problem. Full time minister, and doing Bible studies everyday.

Oh no, what field is he in? Mine works in an aerospace and defense plant. It is huge. Great place to tour, all those planes, tanks, space shuttle parts, etc.
