To be fair, I did use the term "rebel" toward myself before SeptSavedTeen did. However, I never rebelled at all, really, in the true sense of the word. Not even as a teenager. I had a few privately wayward moments, and lots of
thoughts of committing horribly wicked deeds, but managed to refrain from MOST of them.
Christmas is something I REALLY disagreed with my Dad on, though, and when I married, my husband and I agreed that holidays would be a special time of year in our house. My Dad didn't really like it, but as an adult, I do reserve the right to make my own decisions about what comprises my Christianity and what doesn't. (Obviously

) I don't see that as rebellion. I'm a grown girl--not a child still under my father's roof. And I did NOT flaunt our Christmas celebrations in my Dad's face--ever. It was his birthday, too (the 25th), so there was still cause for celebration in his house.
