I SERIOUSLY doubt any mainstream network is going to have a Preacher show. T.D. is going to dispense, if anything, religious neutral psycho babble just like Dr Phil does. Dr Phil is also a Christian, but he does not teach or preach a gospel on his show. It's purely a secular endeaver

You're missing my point.
In many ways, the two men are as different as night and day. Yes, we know that.
However, for decades, Billy Graham has been the face of American Christianity to many Americans. And the evangelical movement has benefited because of it. (And at this point, the sun is pretty much setting on the career and influence of Billy Graham.)
Yet, never has a preacher of Apostolic/Pentecostal background risen to the level of prominence Jakes is reaching. His prominence, assuming he doesnt go "off track"
could be a good thing for the Pentecostal message; that's all I'm saying.
I know the show is not going to be a "preacher show"... (Jakes has a degree in Psychology, making it even more likely this will just be a general "advice" program) . But if God is in this, the increase in national exposure Jakes that will receive from this TV show
could still be net positive for the furtherance of the gospel.
