Simply not true in my case. In my area/s of disagreement I simply have found the tolerance to continue as a conservative member of Oneness Pentecostalism.

It is also my observation, that many of those who have "left" continue in some of the customs I question, and at times enter a free-fall of liberalism that I find otherwise appalling.

As of a few years ago, your statement is only partially true.

I was curious as to how RP baptized, so I called the church. I spoke with one of his associate ministers, and asked how they baptized.

His comment to me was, "We understand that there are a couple of different camps out there, so we will baptize a person the way they want to be baptized - either in the titles, or Jesus' name".

That's not hearsay, that is from a direct conversation I had with one of his staff.

One has to at least be "Apostolic" before they can ever be in danger of being "too Apostolic."

Re: Can We Become Too Apostolic

I think the term "too apostolic" is only a negative when meant as "more apostolic than another"

As far as being too apostolic in how I live, I could only strive for that level of spirituality.

True spirituality isn't measured in striving but rather in being.
