Also, while I'm hear for a minute, a prayer request.
As I have mentioned, our church is finishing up an extensive construction project. We added a huge two story children and youth facility onto our existing facility.
This morning we arrived to work and after a night of heavy rain, and due to a stupid, stupid construction worker; the roof of our new building did not drain properly and, long story short, massive flooding in our old and new buildings.
We were getting ready to get all our permits signed off, and now we have several months of repairs ahead of us. Brand new carpet ruined, ceilings collapsed, it's a mess.
So, prayer request is mainly for my brother/pastor Jon. He was already stretched to his limit with this project, and this has been hugely demoralizing.
Thanks guy, I know we have some praying people here!

Praying here, Diz.

I am so sorry to hear this, will be praying for y'all. Will insurance help with the costs?

I'm sorry to hear about your church flooding. I pray insurance is kind to you all and I will pray for your pastor and congregation.
In spite of it all, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the kind words, and we are hoping that it will all be covered by our insurance. Right now we are in the "everybody point your finger at each other in blame" stage. I know that God will take care of us, but sometimes dealing with the details is a trial.
