The first time I experienced a "jug line" was when my husband took me fishing to check his lines. He asked me to pick up a jug and a huge Alligator Gar came snapping out of the water. I screamed, "I don't want that!!!", dropped the line and fell back in the boat.
He, of course, laughed his head off!!!!
