And your opinion wasn't accusatory at all? Are you being honest with everyone AND yourself? Re-read some of your comments, including what you spewed out yesterday. You deserve a rebuke - or at least someone to call a spade a spade.

If you wanted prayer, you couldn't come arrogant and maliciously, you would come humbly and contrite. I have my own flaws and evils, and this isn't a contest between us two. This is the fact that you are wrong in your actions and instead of admitting it, or keeping silent went off on me and called ME a liar, called worse things to those who this post was about.

If my research is accurate.

The group that is sponsoring this event is not gov't-based and describes this event as a spiritual event, held at a church:

Each year on the third Monday of January schools, federal offices, post office and banks across America close as we celebrate the birth, the life and the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Sacramento DrMLK Jr Sunday Celebration is an occasion of worship, prayer and celebration of the work and memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. This inclusive event is bringing healing, help and hope to the whole Church and community of Sacramento. You my friend have read between the lines somewhere. I was under the impressions that I could form and state and defend my opinons. And I take it that you are the one to rebuke me? Where did I say you are a liar? I have no problem stating my opinions or saying what I think.

Omit? Lie? This is what I'm talking about, Dan. People assume the worse. Maybe the exact verbiage you've cited (and thanks for citing btw) wasn't communicated to NW's people. I take their word that they were asked by the state though. Either way, they may later kick themselves of their decision later if it turns out to be an inter-faith worship experience. In the meantime, think the positive and think the best! Isn't that what we ought to do?

I apologize for the personal attack. The behavior and comments to me and as accused without any knowledge of facts were truly malicious. If they were about me, I'd be devastated. It's the WWW, there's such a thing as libel.

See thats the difference my name is not Clinton. I am sorry if I offended you personally!! I did not mean to, this is only my opinion on this situation. And I have tried to express "IMO" evrey time.
