We do take slandering preachers seriously, but members have to do their part and report the post-

Let's get something clear-

Our members can express their thoughts and feeling as freely as our guidelines allow---just because they do so does not mean they have the endorsement and affirmation of AFF.

This is a discussion board, if anyone brings anything to the board other board members are encouraged to either affirm what is being said or discount it--

Does not mean we promote anyone members views or thoughts-they are open for discussion.
If you openly disagree or ask questions about a preacher is it slandering of defamation?? I THINK ( and yes I know they dont pay me to) this is why some people give up on church, they ask questions and get blasted for slandering or speaking vile of the ministry. Some of us just wanna know WHY??

Everyone has to draw the line in the sand somewhere.

This just happened to be where these good brethren chose.
OOOO so you can be on TV on someone elses dime?? So I can get drunk as long as Im not buying?? Thats the comparison I make.

That is way I look at too-

I think it's prefectly fine to question and ask why-that is not defaming.

I think there in lies where the contention is and why we get such a bad rap, because we talk about things that are that some in ministry would consider off limits. Is not the same as defaming someone character.

That is a lot of the problem.

Many do not think there should be ANY questioning of the ministry.

You apparently ignored the part about the difference between being interviewed etc vs producing, filming and promoting your own show.

Once again in isolation it DOES appear a fine and foolish distinction.

HOWEVER, repeating----what EL PREDICADOR SAID"the church" paying for time, producing and broadcasting its own shows crossed the line and was not THE reason as much as THE last straw.

While I personally cannot agree nonetheless it appears to be where the WFP guys chose to draw the line.

Actaully I am questioning the difference. Its ok to appear on TV if you are not paying for it (advertising)?? Please help my simple mind understand this. You can eat the apple but you cant plant the apple seed!

If you don't understand the difference then perhaps you can't understand the difference.

It is not a novel concept in the Bible that some have different levels of understanding.
