Excellent message.
However there is ONE point of the parable of the talents that seems to scream out at me, yet I have yet to hear anyone else mention it:
Quote:

The master was angry. "You are a wicked and lazy servant. You could have at least put my money in the bank where it would earn more." He then took the one talent from the lazy servant and gave it to the one who had ten talents.

What if the 3rd servant HAD put his money in the bank? What if the money had earned a whopping 2-5% interest? Over the course of a few weeks this would have been a fraction of a cent per dollar/talent deposited. Yet, the master said "You could have at least put my money in the bank where it would earn more.". This is deep! The master would NOT have said "You could have at least done...." if in fact it still would not have been good enough.
Something to think about when either getting beat over the head or beating yourself over the head about not doing enough...... to make it into heaven.
