Re: The Importance Of The Day Of Pentecost.

May 20th was Pentecost or Shavu'ot or Whitsunday in 1956.
On that day, Sunday May 20, 1956 I received the Holy Ghost Baptism at Bethel Tabernacle (UPC) in Racine, Wisconsin. I was 18 years old.

Bro. Sam,

I was also 18 when I received the Holy Ghost at Pentecostal Faith Church
in a small town, just a few miles south of Red River, in Northeast Texas. The
year was 1958. We had driven approx. 60 miles one way each night to that
revival. The last night of the revival, my brother just younger than myself,
and I received the Holy Ghost, minutes apart.
Today the United Pentecostal Church is the largest church in that town.
Things have turned around. I remember when it was the smallest church in
that town. They have the Baccularate for the senior class each year in this
church.
Our late father used to say, "Time changes everything except those things
which are eternal". Those things never change.

Blessings,

Falla39

Re: The Importance Of The Day Of Pentecost.

Acts 2:1-4, which describes the coming of the Holy Spirit, is a rare passage that proves itself to be true by its very content. Check out
