Well well I see 2020 still has quite the pompous attitude.

Re: WPF Musician to Play for Trinitarian
Dizzy - My comment was in relation to the original premise of this whole evolving soap opera. The original poster posted 4 allegations about WPF, NW, MY, Music Director, etc... The opinions took off like a rocket, the stones like Paul's order upon Steven. Several of us cautioned everyone to get all the facts first. Few listened. Instead, a few posters said they "heard it themselves" (hearsay), but didn't care to expound, since the allegations were many.
Then I later post info word-for-word from a PM that a few posters couldn't confirm (about a thread on JP) and you blasted me for having "unreliable" sources. My point was, my sources were providing explanation for innocence. The other "sources" were condemning a group and people without having all the facts.
I understand the beef and animosity many of you have with these WPF types, but it really is beyond how deep it is.
Regarding my post about Western District, it is what it is. Read the threads on AFF and it's self-explanatory (without the PMs I received) that there is drama on the West Coast. Do we really need to argue that?
Also, I've already apologized for my blanket criticisms of AFF.

Let's not pretend there has been any respectful discourse here.

If TRC band was just playing for their church choir at a community function, no one would be having this discussion. End of story. If this was Anthony Mangun's band playing for a non-Apostolic, the WPF group would be having a field day on him and you know it!
Mark, you are my friend, but we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. You refused to deal with the real issue. I'm attempting to guess it's because of your friendships and relations to other musicians and what they go through amongst the Apostolic ranks

I think it's all tied in together. You people don't like the ministry of said church so you fault find anything related to it thus the min. of music and his blog comes under scrutiny. Why don't you leave him out ( and the band). If this was some little church in redneckville, no one would hardly think anything of it.
And what's the difference in the SINGERS singing at an event and the MUSICIANS playing at a non church event????? Why is it just the musicians getting it?
I'm not looking at this only thru the point of being a musician. I'm only bringing out one aspect that others failed to address. We're an easy target.
besides, it's non of anyone's business anways is it???

HA! I will refrain from responding to anymore of your post. And will also bow out of any thread on which you post! Thanks and have a nice little life.

I am very clear as to the context of the post that I responded to. It seems that you are unclear as to what you said in that post.
Anyhow, whatever, I'm not much for pointless arguments, which seems to be where this one is headed.

I'm sorry, but if you only knew how ironic this post is...
(BTW, this isn't a critical post, it really is very, very funny to me)
