All they need is 12 members to break ranks & vote with the Government & we are they are finished!
Surely there must be 12 members wise enough to see what this will cause if it goes through. The Sereratists in Quebec must be sitting back laughing as the the 3 stooges break up the country.

Stephane Dion looks like a spoiled kid who just can't take no for an answer!

Let's hope so!
I saw a line in the paper today calling the coalition an, "unholy trinity!"

That about sums it up.

Unfortunately these shenanigans have only fueled Quebec separatism.

I long for the good old days when all we had to think about was the economy!

A nationwide poll taken by Compass Dec 4 2008

By a more than 2:1 margin, Canadians call for another election if the choice faced by the Governor-General were between inviting Stephane Dion to form a government and hold a fresh general election weeks after the most recent one. That is the key finding from a national representative poll completed December 4, 2008.
If an election were held today, Stephen Harper would win a large majority based on nation-wide support of 51% compared to 20% for the Liberals, 10% for the NDP, 6% for the Greens, and 8% for the Bloc. Harper would sweep seat-rich Ontario with 53% of the vote compared to 24% for the Liberals and 10% for the NDP in that province and would surpass Dion in Quebec with 32% of the vote compared to 19% for the Liberals and 35% for the Bloc.

‘Canada as a Family’ - What a Concept

- Satire -

Suppose you had a family with a dozen kids. Each child representing a Province or Territory, and the parents representing the Government, (played by ‘Pa’) and the Opposition, (played by ‘Ma’).
Ma and Pa disagreed with each other on almost everything, a rocky relationship at best, but it was arranged for the sake of the family to work as a unit, tolerate and try to respect each other. Pa being a fiscally responsible and slightly right of centre type. Ma being left of centre or further left if the occasion called for it and a bit of a carefree goodtime party doll most of the time.
