Yeah, good luck with that!!! It is like a drug, gets in your blood. I went cold turkey for a couple of months, and then relapsed....

Step 7 - Humbly asked God to give us a faster and better computer to read and post as much as we can.

Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we think are on the "slippery slope" and are in danger of turning Charismatic and have dutifully handed said list over to St. Mark.

Step 9 - Made every attempt to create as many threads as possible and, by opening more than one window, read multiple posts at the same time.

Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we couln't think of anything to post, promptly "cut and paste" something.

Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our contact with our brothers and sisters, to refrain from arguing and to tell people who don't agree with us, they are wrong and they know it.

Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to get others to join AFF so we won't be the only AFF addicts we know.

Weekly classes meet in the Fellowship Hall on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm

Hellp aak1972. I am OneAccord, and I am an AFF addict.

I have been an addict since, well, since before there was an AFF. It all began long, long time ago, in a Galaxy far, far away- Faithchild Forum I think it was called. A dying world whose end came all too suddenly. However a few... a fortunate few... were able to survive by being transposted to a new, world called New Faithchild Forum. A brave new world full of long time posters.... some short timers, and, like myself, many "newbies". All was well for a time, but, again, through the work of the "Dark Forces", NFCF was blasted into the nether regions of cyberspace.

The NFCF members were left adrift... adrift in the dark and forbidding vacumn of NO Forumland. Then, in the distance... a glimmer of light. A glimmer of hope drew near. There, in the whitest of white lights... was a new vessel... it was the USS Apostolic Friends Forum. Hope had dawned and word quickly spread throughout the universe... and lost souls began the long journey thru the universe to the Mothership. The old timers took the helm, the short timers manned their posts, and the newbies were assimilated into their usual ranks as cannon fodder. All was well. Hope had been restored. Life was good... until...

Until we found ourselves thinking,

"Oh, its after midnight and I'm still on AFF!'

"Oh, I gotta get off here or I'm gonna be late for work"

"Think I'll miss church tonight... its okay, I'll be on AFF!"

"I can't believe I've been on here for 8 hours!"

It was then that we realized we had been hopelessly assimilated into the AFF collective.

So... welcome. All I can say is, "Resistance is futile!"
