Wow, guys this was great! I am wrapping up day 2 and the biggest issue has been the caffeine addiction that I apparently have. I had no idea that it would have been a problem. The family is doing great, we had a veggie stew for dinner, and I am going to try some homemade vegetarian chili tomorrow. We have been going through the juice like crazy, and the kids are really enjoying the nuts.... (no, not their parents!)

There are different versons of the Daniel fast. Just choose what you feel you can do.
Some include nuts and seasonings. I think the most consensus of the fast is not meat, bread and nothing sweet.
Once you get past the 3rd day it gets easier.

You are absolutely right!
This was day 4 and it was a breeze!
I actually posted the link to the one we are doing in the title thread. The kids are doing really well too, Kari has a sleepover tonight and she took her "lunch box". I have to admit I am getting very creative with the meals, at our house it is vegan corn chowder tonight (last night was veggie chili).

We are counting down less than a week now, it has been a long 5 weeks, but we are almost there!
