there aint on sombrero on a bottle of tobasco. its a louisiana sauce not a south texas pecante.

There are hoter sauces out there. In fact Matouks Calypso is one of my favorites. I eat it quite often and its made with Scotch Bonnett peppers and its far hotter than Tobasco. But mmmmmm good!

My favorite thing in the world to do is go to the local Mexican restaurant and load up the salsa with the habenero sauce. Whatever's left of the salsa after eating chips, once the meal arrives, goes on top of the enchiladas!

I offer two recommendations so you can take your illness and branch out:

Try Baji's papadums. They're a chip from India. You can get them at Target. Also, try Fiery Habenero doritos - but have a drink handy. Something about the way they're made - kind of powdery - makes it very easy to inhale some of the spice dust.

I like to put Melinda's Red Savina habenero sauce on my bologna sandwiches - or tobasco, or cholula, or any other of a handful of hot sauces I keep in my desk at work. But the cupholder of my truck has a bottle of tobasco in it.

And a word to Sister Brattified: I've tried Frank's and found it to be worth every bit of the $1 I paid for an enormous bottle of it. I'm glad your kids like it, but it is too far beyond rot-gut for me. My kids (well, the ones that do hot sauce, anyhow) prefer Cholula. It's got hints of garlic & salt.
A fellow Connoisseur see! I've tried (and like) the Habenaro Doritos. Hot sauces are a thing with me. I found Matouks while in Trinidad years ago and I still love it!
Sriracha is also a staple in my house. it goes on anything Asian and we eat lots of Asian food.

the Matouks calypso sauce finds its way into my ketchup whenever I eat ketchup and sometimes I will eat rice butter and matouks.

Re: Confessions of an Addict. It is my crack

I need to purge my sould.

My addiction took another level last night. I was in need of a snack and of course, my addiction came into play.

only the chips I found were mere crumbles and not capable of holding tabasco so I just got a handfull of the crumbles, put them in my mouth and then turned the Tabasco bottle up and took several good shakes directly into my mouth!

I cannot help myself.
