Re: May I smoke here??!

Are any of y'all living with COPD/E? I am, and it is not in any way funny to struggle to breathe.

Don't do either if you want to live in good health.

Smoking may not be a 'sin' but it is certainly a disgusting, smelly habit. Ewwww! JMO

If thats the case we should still adhere to the preachers I heard years ago preaching against caffiene.

To answer your question.

Then

Over eating should be sin.

Taking every form of off the shelf or over the counter drug should be a sin.

Many others as well.

If SMoking is to be considered a sin because of the body being a temple..

My point being smoking can't be justified because someone else drinks coffee or whatever.

I agree many think can be unhealthy, many things even in moderation are unhealthy. It's true a glass of wine a day is better then soda pop. I guess this were discernment and if one is really in step with God the spirit will let them know when they have crossed a line.

Re: May I smoke here??!

well one of the deadly sins is gluttony - the definition of gluttony is excessive eating - so there you go - overeating is a sin - not going to be very many pentecostals in heaven if that is the case is there! LOL

Oh my goodness, maybe I am just tired -- stayed up way too late last night on a cleaning & cooking spree -- but that just struck me as hilarious!

I would totally agree though.

Over eating is not the only definition of gluttony. Nor is it confined to pentecostals.
