Agreed completely.
We never have a meal pass that we do not thank the cook for the good meal.
Never a day passes that I do not tell my wife I love her and that she is beautiful and I still whistle when she walks across the room.
I thank her for clean clothes etc.
I also do these things on my own as well when the opportunity arises because saying thank you is one thing but taking ones own responsibility for these things from time to time really seem to "do a woman good".
It not only says thank you but it says I do not view you as the only person in this house that does these things.
I completely agree that years of thankless work that goes unappreciated and unnoticed will take the "want to" out of anybody.
Thanks for making the point. It is not understood by far too many spouses.
