Even as a young child, when my grandmother babysat me, whenever one of my uncles would turn on the one-eyed devil, I'd fall on my face before God and repent!

Either that, or I'd watch it. Can't remember. I was only six, memories are kind of fuzzy.

Spicy foods share some properties, and each have some of their own. All peppers are very good for you, onions, garlic, etc.

Peppers are excellent for the circulatory system and the heart. If you get into Chinese medicine..there's a lot more there. But I think I'll skip that information for now.

Thanks for the info. Someone told me that Jalapenos could be bad for your stomach. I just keep eating them, because things like peppers, garlic and onions do so much for a dish that you don't have to really use other spices such as salt and pepper. That's what I like about them.

You know... they never bother me (unless I rub my eyes or something.

I can cut them up all day and never feel a thing on my hands.

Quick recipe... probably not going to be a fan of the ladies... it is a heavy dish... but I like them... and my wife does too.

Take a fresh jalapeno and cut it in half lengthwise.

Cut out the pith & the seeds.
Fill it to heaping with cream cheese.

Take about 1/6th of a pound of pan sausage and pat it out.

Place the jalapeno in the middle and form the pan sausage around it until it completely encloses the jalapeno/cream cheese thingy.

Bake them at about 300 until the sausage is done.

VERY good.
