Re: Christmas Traditions
I have had a Rudolph Stuffed Christmas Wreath since 1992. It USED to play different Christmas Carols (motion/light sensor) but now, alas, the wires have just fallen apart and he is silenced. The kids HATE it! LOL Every year I put it out.....and EVERY YEAR they say.... WE HATE THIS RUDOLPH! LOL I think I want to be buried with Rudolph Wreath. He has brought me much laughter!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOOOODDDD NIGHT!

I really didn't have a place to hang it this year so I just stuck him on the coat rack by my back door. My son asked where it was - - then went to hit the nose. I hope it never breaks!

I took a picture of it - - I told my son it's 25 years old - same as him and it's an antique.

There are other small traditions, but these are probably the most major.

I like to read "Mary, Did You Know" to the kids.
Jeff makes Puppy Chow--how do you do it without peanut butter? Or do you mean you just make it with chocolate?

Re: Christmas Traditions
My Rudolph is in a rocking chair, and sings Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer. My grandkids look for that every Christmas.

Re: Christmas Traditions
I always make fudge and pecan cookies.
Ashley & I always watch "Serendipity" and "All I Want for Christmas" at some point over the holidays.
I do stockings for the kids, even though they are grown. This year Adam (SIL) will get one also.

9 cup Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.
Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.
I love it! I like to freeze it and eat it cold!
