Renda is right on target. While Eve and Jezebel are usually used as examples of domineering women, it is the weak men in these situations that allowed themselves to be dominated and manipulated.
Isa 3:12 [As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. How is it the verse here can be applied to this time and age? It is my opinion that this is because a good number of men do not understand their biblical role in the home, which is to be responsible to teach his children right, to love their wives, and to accept responsibilty for the provision for the household as Christ intended. And that word "provision" means a lot more than just being the "bread winner".
