Obey Them that Rule???

Our level of faith is directly connected to our obedience.

Mt 8: 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Obedience is clearly a key to great faith. Understanding and submitting ourselves to authority is crucial to our level of faith.

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

The reason that our heart condemns us is because the law of God written on our heart reveals disobedience. It does not say that God condemns, it is our own heart.

If we will be a people of great faith we must also be a people of great obedience!

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
