2008 Who went on to their reward?
I can think of missionary Bill Thompson. I know there were many more can you post who you remember?
Bro. Kilgore's sister can't remember her name.

Sis. Esther,
Was it Blanche Fay? Is it the one we recently prayed for?

Re: 2008 Who went on to their reward?
Is this a "Grim Reaper" thread?
J/K I like the term, "Going on to thier reward!"
The Catholic doctrine is as wrong as wrong can be but what thing they have it right, at a funeral they call it a "Celebration" of the one who passed, life!
Good way to look at it.

A moment of silence for Justin Jones and a warm hug for Dayna, his mother.

Yes, thank you. If I recall correctly I believe she was also an artist.

JW & Rachel Wilbanks of Walnut MS.- Parents of John Wilbanks who pastors Love & Truth in Corinth MS... and Tim Wilbanks who pastors Middleton Pentecostal Tabernacle in Middleton TN.
Bro Hodum- minister in the North MS area I believe... I can't recall his first name at the moment. His daughter Linda and her family attend my church. I know his grandson who used to post here is married to IAintMovin's daughter.

I do know she wrote "Blanche Fay" and told so many wonderful
things about the C.P. Kilgore family. It is an awesome book. One
of my brothers in law who is a minister/pastor, enjoyed it so much,
he borrowed it a few times and re-read it. It was such an encour-
agement to him, would glean something new each time he read it.
Finally he saw one at a conference and purchased one for himself.
Bro. James Kilgore was the baby of the family, I believe.
Hugs,

I believe that to be true. I had posted a reply to this when I lost my internet connection.
I would love to read a book of their lives. I have heard Bro. James Kilgore talk about how he was 12 years old before he had a bed to sleep in. And while he was sleeping on a pallet in a garage the Lord called him into the ministry. His mother was up praying with him.
His father and mother both fasted and prayed much. His father had an awesome ministry and paid a dear price for it as did his children.
The old timers did not have it easy and we take much for granted due to their paving the way for the rest of us.

Didn't Bro. Robert Fuller from HQ pass away this year?
