Re: Pajamas --for home only?
Okay, are you asking for some kind of religious perspective or just an opinion on the tackiness of the situation?

Re: Pajamas --for home only?
I know it's not a big issue with the younger generation. Some even wear them to school if allowed. I've seen them when people travel even on airplanes. They go for comfort.
It's like pj bottoms have taken the place of sweat pants - - they are everywhere all the time.
Is it proper? Personally, I don't really care, but I could never do it.

You need to get dressed and go to the lobby area where there is a separate breakfast room. The majority of folks are dressed for the day. Today there was a group in their jammies..... They were modest and covered but nonetheless....they were in their pj's...Is this acceptable?

I would not do it, but my daughter would.

Re: Pajamas --for home only?
So this is an apostolic/pentecostal fourm so if any lady wears pants at home tell your pastor this and see what he tells ya because I can tell you that your pastor does not believe in a lady wearing pants if he does he is not upc or apostolic because that would go against the articles of faith or the handbook. I don't think you should wear pants at home and not wear them out in the world you are really not apostolic or upc and should not be going to a church that holds those standards if you truly do not believe the scripture and if you think it is being interpreted wrong you should take it up with your pastor so he can tell ya to leave because that is probley what he would tell ya cause he is not going to change his views. So in short if you wear pants at home you should not attend a upc or apostolic church because pants are for men.. LOL byt the way I do not believe as the upc or apostolic chuch does when it come to dress I wear shorts to our fellowship fuctions if it is warm I am just waiting for the pastor to say something to me so I can ask him were in the bible it tells me I cannot wear shorts...

Re: Pajamas --for home only?
i do think you should have some dignity, but i once in awhile go pick my son up from work and i will not get out of the car, but i will have my sweats on, as long as no one sees me i am perfectly fine, but to go in public i would not dress like that, i want to be modest, i would be embarrassed

Re: Pajamas --for home only?
So sweats are not modest what do they show that is not modest? Now a skimpy bathing suit that is not modest but sweat pants unless you have a hole in them somewere that shows something then they need to be thrown away....
