Sis. Rhoni,
I guess I was thinking that "They" that wait upon the LORD",
meant anyone!. I still do believe that!
The most recent "wedding" that took place in our church were
two people who had been divorced (both of their companions had
found someone else". He had been divorced many years (over 10).
She, not as long. I believe God brought them both to this church
for such a time as this. To bring them together in HIS time.
This man reminded faithful to God and the house of God after the
divorce. (we have known him for many years)
When she came back to Texas after the divorce, she became friends
with some single ladies from our church. Felt God had led her here. (He
was not yet attending here.) But sometime after they both had started
coming here, they began to talk at a church fellowship (Labor Day). It
wasn't long before he realized he had not felt like this toward any woman
since his divorce and told her so. Wasn't long before they believed God had
brought them together. They have been married now for a few months and
are SO happy they radiate that happiness in both their faces.
She told me recently that on the way to church he told her he didn't
know being married could be SO much fun. If God puts it together, it
should last! That's enough to make a wife glad she's married to a man
like that!!!
Hugs, love you too!
