Re: Getting to know you

I think everyone knows me pretty well!

I've bored you with my kids engagements, weddings and my Christmas decorations for the past couple years!

Who I am here is who I am in real life too..............and hopefully, your friend!

Re: Getting to know you

A little about me...

I live in Longview, TX. I have been married for 10 yrs. I do like Longview but would not be opposed to moving if the need arose.

My husband and I were both previously married so we eloped. LOL But seriously I wish we had don't a real wedding even if only a small one. I do regret that. We hope to do a vow renewal ceremony on our 15th.

I have two step dtrs and one son. We attend church but really are not much more involved. Up until about 3 yrs ago we were involved in EVERYTHING (Choir, SS Dir., Drama, etc etc). We were so involved it almost destroyed our marriage/family. That's another story another time.

I love to read. I love to travel. I LOVE school. If I could go to school and get paid for it I would. I have one degree and was recently working on another but situations with my oldest required that I put that on hold for a bit.

I am finding that raising teens is the hardest thing I have ever done.

Overall I am a pretty boring person.

You're not getting away that easily. There are many new members who don't know you like the rest of us do. You need to write about yourself too.

Re: Getting to know you

i live in Miami Oklahoma. Do I like it? The jury is still out on that. We moved here 2+ years ago from Monett MO. I had lived there all my life--my husband had lived there most of his. We never imagined moving but God had other ideas.

My husband and I married very young. WE had a small ceremony but 250 people attended. We will be married 12 years in March.

We have 4 boys. Bryen is 11, Chase is 10, Dylan is 7 and Eric is 5. they are my joy.

I am a stay at home mom and plan on going back to school or to work when Eric goes to school in August. My husband is a tractor salesman.

My husband is a minister and we are youth leaders here. Other than that I haven't been involved in much else. Back home we were assistants in a home mission church and involved in every aspect of ministry. We have taken advantage of not being "needed" everywhere and our focus is youth.

Church and my boys keep me fairly busy so i don't have time for many hobbies. Maybe someday...lol

I thought the exact same thing when I read your post, Sis. A. Maybe that's why you love us all so much - cuz we remind you of your dear hubby. LOL

Hi, you don't live very far from me. I have a daughter in Gladewater, and one that just moved from Hallesville to Harligen. There are great churches in that area.

I raised 6 kids and the teen years are thankfully a vague memory.
