In some cases we reep what others sow.
That is why so many folks have been beaten down.

Re: Changing Denominations
Neck, when you first began posting on AFF, you didn't have this "voice of the martyrs" persona.

The sad thing about this question is to insinuate that God is not a just God.
Do you really think He would allow anyone in hell that does not deserve to be there.
Do you understand the dept of His Love? He doesn't want any of His children there.

Sis CS, it is you, and others like you that I have no toelrance for so what you think of me is of no consesequence.
Sis. Alvear, I do understand the concept of what you are saying but you must understand that for me to allow myself to be put in the position of another inflicting these same open wounds would be egregious on my part - wouldn't you say?
Respectfully, Rhoni

The word "Christian" for some also has or could have negative connotations. Christians or those that say they are Christians have mistreated people...in fact they have started wars, persecuted and tortured others...
Then again since they fall into the catagory of the human race I suppose human being can carry a bad connotation...anyone up for confessing they are not human?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Yup.
Sounds like you were a nasty bunch all right.
However, it was the condition of your hearts and not the clothes on your hide that was the problem.

I've never asked him about it. Many women in our church wear foundation and trim their hair. I am not being stubborn and spiteful as you said. In fact, the ones critiqueing me are the ones who also critique the pastor and the church. So I pay them no mind.

I was thinking the same thing.

I believe that the full round orb has graced the night sky with it's mysterious inspiration. And, behold, it has brought forth a thread, yea a thread illuminated by it's lunar glow.

My interpretation:

|
....OR...
Just as a full moon comes around once a month so does the menstrual cycle of a woman...and the truth is during a certain time of the month, woman are more emotional and labile and might bring forth a thread like this one... yea, a thread that has a lot of emotional baggage behind it. Or a thread influenced by that "time of the month"!
You should have heard some of the things my creative writing teacher came up with in discussing poetry...everything was about sex or death.
Okay if you want to say this thread was influenced by a full moon. Working in a hospital, it seems that our patients are a little more crazy and restless during a full moon...."What is there a full moon tonight?" LOL!!
Not sure I agree the moon can affect us in any way so I came up with my own interpretation of what you were saying. Blame it on my creative writing teacher.
